Pilot Ace was the fourth general purpose stored program electronic digital computer after Mark I on 21st June 1948, EDSAC on 6th May 1949 and SEAC on April 1950.
A grand demonstration of Pilot ACE was held between 29th November and 1st December 1950. Two main programs were shown , one popular and one serious. The popular program took in a six digit decimal number and gave it's highest factor. The serious program traced the paths of rays through a complex set of lenses.
